	2006 Axelrode Patient Appreciation Day Our annual Patient Appreciation Day was on Saturday, July 29th at Fernandez Park in Pinole. We had a fun filled day which included a fabulous Hawaiian BBQ buffet with shaved ice. Our entertainment was provided by the Ehulani Island Dancers of Hayward. However, we had a special hula presentation by Little Mermaids named Gigi and Angie Axelrode who won our hearts. The dancers with the highest distinction were our very own orthodontists, Drs. Our guests were delighted by tattoo and balloon artists, a Lilo & Stitch jumper plus lei making and sand art crafts. The lucky winners of our raffles and Hula Grass Skirt Relay, Limbo and Hula Hoop Contests were awarded magnificent prizes which put smiles on all our patients who won! Stay tuned for this year's Patient Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 8, 2007. It will be a "Baseball" theme.
